Education:            •   1990: Ph.D. Psychology; minor in methodology and statistics at West Virginia University, USA. Topic of dissertation: A Comparison of Three Prompt-Fading Methods in Computer-Software Training.
 
                               •   1986: M.A. Psychology at West Virginia University, USA. Topic of thesis: Feedback Revisited: An Operant Analysis of the Control of Conceptual Learning by Feedback.

Lead the development of the research methodology at Gallup, which soon became the leading market research company in Iceland (over 70% market share). This methodology, especially with regards to question and questionnaire design, has been adopted in most marketing and opinion reseach in Iceland.

Courses on Bachelors, masters and doctoral level.
Given several talks at conferences and meetings in Iceland and abroad on the technology of teaching.
Served as an advisor on numerous BA/BSc theses, several master theses and co-advisor on four doctoral dissertations.
Received the “Teacher of the Year” award at Reykjavik University in the spring 2012.
