1982-1997 Division Engineer at the Fisheries association of Iceland and the Icelandic Fisheries Fund, technical department (Tæknideild Fiskifélags íslands og Fiskveiðasjóðs Íslands). Design and development of measuring equipment and measuring methods for use in measurements in Stern Trawlers, mainly regarding efficiency, oil consumption and power capacity of the main engine- and propulsion system. Measurements and analysis of vibrations in fishing vessels.
Partaking in the Nordic Research fund (Nordforsk) research project, OlieFisk. Leader of the Instrument group a team of Nordic Electronic Engineers, designing measuring methods for use in the Oliefisk project.
