2011: Emerging Leaders in Environmental and Energy Policy Network (ELEEP) Selected to participate in the ELEEP network, which is set up by the Atlantic Council in partnership with the Ecologic Institute. ELEEP is a dynamic, membership-only forum for the exchange of ideas, policy solutions, best-practices, and professional development for emerging American and European leaders working on or around environmental and energy issues.
2011: Doctoral Research Award Selected to receive the Doctoral Research Award by the Geothermal Association of Iceland, which annually supports one doctoral student to attend an international energy conference.
2011: Graduate Student Research Award The Icelandic National Power Company awards annually the Graduate Student Research Award to support students who have demonstrated outstanding academical achievements in their research work on energy and environmental issues.
2011: Young Future Energy Leaders (YFEL) Invited by the Masdar Institute of Technology to participate in the YFEL Program at the 2011 World Future Energy Summit, in Abu Dhabi, UAE, as well as the 2011 European Future Energy Summit, in Geneva, CH. The mission of YFEL is to promote interaction between the young professionals and government representatives, businesses leaders and other organizations active in the area of alternative energy and sustainability.
2009: MIT Tucker-Voss Award Established in memory of Professor Ross F. Tucker and Professor Walter C. Voss, the first two heads of the MIT Department of Civil Engineering. The award is given annually to a student who shows particular promise in the field of building construction.
2008: Louis Berger Fellowship Award Awarded by the Louis Berger Group for high academic achievement at the MIT Department of Civil and Environment Engineering. |
