Contents This course provides a comprehensive overview of digital and information system management, from strategic planning to practical implementation. Students will learn how to align IT strategy with business goals, manage complex system architectures, and lead digital transformation initiatives. The course will take a managerial perspective on this transformation. Topics include digital disruption, digital business models, system life cycle, system integration, system development methodologies and project management, and organizational change related to the implementation of IT systems. Through case studies, simulations, and hands-on projects, students will gain the skills to effectively manage information systems in today´s fast-paced digital landscape. The course prepares future IT leaders to drive innovation and optimize business processes leveraging the latest digital technologies. Main topics of the course  -         Digital disruption -         Digital strategy and digital business models -         Digital design of organizations -         IT Development and implementation challenges in real life organizations -         IT Project Management -         Agile vs. waterfall IT project management -         Lifecycle models -         Implementation of enterprise systems (ERP, BI, etc.) -         IT Driven organizational change -         Change management and resistance to change
