This course aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge of research methodology and the ability and skills to apply this knowledge to different business research questions. Students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills at the advanced level to systematically design, execute and reflect on research projects in management. • Advance theoretical knowledge, practical skills and competences in business research methods. • Encourage students to think critically and incorporate appropriate techniques and skills in their research. • Provide students with an understanding of ensuring high quality and rigor in business research.  
Learning outcome - Objectives
Knowledge The student should be familiar with: 1. the key elements of the research process 2. types of research approaches and methods and appreciate their advantages and limitations 3. the rationale for research ethics Skills The student should be able to: 4. discuss and apply the different steps involved in the scientific research process. 5. design a research project by taking into consideration the key elements of the research process. Competences The student can: 6. argue for different methodological choices related to the research process 7. demonstrate awareness of ethical aspects in conjunction with business research 8. show reflections and developments
